The Kinergetics National Association (KNA) was established in 1996 as a non-profit organisation to represent the interests of Kinergetics practitioners and instructors.
The key objectives are to:
- promote professional standards of Kinergetics through the Code of Ethics and the registration of practitioners and instructors.
- ensure provision of ongoing training for Kinergetics practitioners and instructors.
- publish a quarterly newsletter to provide information on scheduled Kinergetics courses and new techniques and developments in Kinergetics and allied healing modalities.
- provide professional advice and opportunities for social interaction for members.
- disseminate information to the general public and other health professionals about the value of Kinergetics.
The Code of Ethics sets out the standards of conduct required of Kinergetics practitioners and instructors.
The primary focus of the KNA is to support the promotion and teaching of Kinergetics throughout Australia, and to manage the registration of instructors. Our aim is to keep
administration to a minimum, so that membership fees are low, while maintaining an effective flow of relevant information to KNA practitioners and instructors.
The KNA is not intended to be a professional registration body for Kinesiologists, as that objective is already well met by other Kinesiology Associations, who are able to
offer a wide range of services including practitioner insurance.
